Azshari Bloatray is an epic flying mount in the form of a golden deepsea ray, added in patch 8.2 "Rise of Azshara" of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. The mount is the reward for the meta-achievement Glory of the Eternal Raider, which requires completing eight raid achievements in the Eternal Palace on Normal difficulty or higher.
Azshari Bloatray is one of four rays added in patch 8.2 along with the Nazjatar zone. It stands out among other deepsea rays with its bright golden coloration and characteristic glow. The mount becomes available to all characters on the account once the achievement is earned.
To obtain the mount, you need to complete the meta-achievement Glory of the Eternal Raider, which includes eight separate achievements in the Eternal Palace raid.
The achievements don't have to be completed in a single run — progress is preserved between raid visits.
The Eternal Palace is located in the underwater zone of Nazjatar. The raid entrance is in the northern part of the map, near the Queen's Gate.
If you haven't unlocked Nazjatar yet, follow these steps:

The raid contains eight bosses. At max level (80), all of them die in mere seconds, but to complete certain achievements you'll need to watch for specific mechanics.
| Order | Boss | Achievement |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Abyssal Commander Sivara | You and What Army? |
| 2 | Blackwater Behemoth | Introduction to Marine Biology |
| 3 | Radiance of Azshara | Fun Run |
| 4 | Lady Ashvane | Simple Geometry |
| 5 | Orgozoa | Jellyfish Slap |
| 6 | The Queen's Court | If It Pleases the Court |
| 7 | Za'qul | Lactose Intolerant |
| 8 | Queen Azshara | Best of Us |
Below are all eight achievements with step-by-step instructions. For each, it's noted whether it can be completed solo at level 80.
Boss: Abyssal Commander Sivara (1st boss) Goal: Defeat Abyssal Commander Sivara while all three of her lieutenants are alive and engaged in the fight.
In front of Sivara's chamber are three lieutenants who are usually killed during trash clears: Gorjesh, Korvess, and Garval. To earn the achievement, you need to pull all three lieutenants to the boss and kill Sivara while they're still alive.
Strategy at level 80:
Solo: Doable. At level 80, Sivara dies in a few seconds. The lieutenants may hit you, but the damage is negligible.
Boss: Blackwater Behemoth (2nd boss) Goal: Collect 50 marine fauna samples in the Darkest Depths and defeat the Blackwater Behemoth.
In the underwater zone before the boss and around the arena are various marine creatures: mollusks, crabs, worms, and fish. You need to collect 50 samples by clicking on them.
Strategy at level 80:
Solo: Doable. Sample collection doesn't require combat, and the boss at level 80 dies instantly.
Boss: Radiance of Azshara (3rd boss) Goal: Run six full laps around the boss arena without falling into the water, and defeat Radiance of Azshara.
The Radiance of Azshara arena is a circular platform surrounded by water. To earn the achievement, you need to run six full laps in a row along the edge of the arena.
Strategy at level 80:
Solo: Doable. At level 80, the boss poses no threat. The main task is to not fall into the water while running in circles.
Boss: Lady Ashvane (4th boss) Goal: Every Arcing Azerite beam must pass through Lady Ashvane.
During the fight, Lady Ashvane casts Arcing Azerite, firing energy beams. For the achievement, each beam must pass through the boss.
Strategy at level 80:
Solo: Doable. With enough damage output, the boss dies before key mechanics begin.
Boss: Orgozoa (5th boss) Goal: Incubate a Zoatroid Younglet and defeat Orgozoa at the incubator.
During Orgozoa's transition phase, one of the players must catch a zoatroid egg that falls from the ceiling and carry it to the lower platform.
Strategy at level 80:
Solo: May take several attempts. The main difficulty is catching the egg in the right spot during the transition. The boss must survive until the transition phase, so don't deal too much damage in the first phase.
Boss: The Queen's Court (6th boss) Goal: Perform the correct emotes toward Queen Azshara during each of her decrees.
During the Queen's Court fight, Azshara watches the battle and issues decrees. For the achievement, you need to perform specific emotes while targeting Azshara.
Decree-to-emote mapping:
Strategy at level 80:
Solo: Doable. This is a personal achievement — it's enough to perform all the emotes yourself. Don't kill the bosses until all decrees have been issued.
Boss: Za'qul (7th boss) Goal: Kill ten Shimmermilk Cows and then defeat Za'qul.
On Za'qul's arena, there are six runes on the floor. To activate them, you need to stand on a rune and gain the Mania ability, then dispel the debuff. When all six runes are activated, a portal to a secret area with cows opens.
Strategy at level 80:
Solo: Hard, but possible. The main challenge is activating all six runes alone. It's recommended to invite at least one ally to dispel the debuffs.
Boss: Queen Azshara (8th, final boss) Goal: Defeat Queen Azshara, and at the moment of victory only one living player with the Essence of Azeroth buff must remain.
This is the most difficult achievement in the meta-series. In its original content, it required coordination from an entire raid group.
Strategy at level 80:
Solo: May require a group. This is the only one of the eight achievements that will most likely require allies.
Achievements can be completed in any order, but it's recommended to follow the boss order in the raid — from first to last. That way you clear the entire raid in one run.
With level 80 and an understanding of all the achievement mechanics, a full clear takes one to three runs (one to three weeks). Some achievements can be completed on the first try, while others will require repeat visits.
The Eternal Palace raid has a weekly lockout. If you kill a boss and don't get the achievement, you'll have to wait until the next week to try again. Make sure you understand the achievement mechanic before engaging the boss.
Learn the mechanics in advance — before entering the raid, read the conditions for each achievement. Some require not killing the boss too quickly so you can wait for specific phases
Don't rush your damage — at level 80, you deal massive damage to Battle for Azeroth content. For If It Pleases the Court, Jellyfish Slap, and Lactose Intolerant, you need to wait for specific fight phases. Remove your gear or use a weak weapon to reduce your damage
Prepare emote macros — for If It Pleases the Court, create macros that target Queen Azshara and perform the necessary emote
Bring a friend for harder achievements — Best of Us and Lactose Intolerant are significantly easier in a group. Use the group finder or invite friends
Check your progress through the achievement log — after each boss, open the achievement log (Y key) and verify the achievement has been credited
Use the Angry Assignments addon or similar — achievement-tracking addons will help you remember the conditions during combat
Don't forget about difficulty — achievements only count on Normal difficulty or higher. Before entering, make sure the correct difficulty is selected (right-click your character portrait — Raid Difficulty)
Consider using the group finder — in the group finder tool (I key), groups assembling for Glory of the Eternal Raider appear regularly. Joining such a group will significantly speed up the process
