This is a ranged damage dealer whose primary stat is Intellect. The Destruction Warlock is a master of chaos and fel fire, channeling devastating energy to incinerate enemies.
A distinctive feature of the specialization is managing the Soul Shards resource and sustaining high damage by casting powerful spells such as Havoc and Chaos Bolt. The gameplay is built around quickly accumulating shards and spending them efficiently inside increased-damage windows.

Shadowburn when it is available- Chaos Bolt to avoid capping on Soul Shards
- Incinerate to generate Soul Shards

Enchants and Gems
Leveling
While leveling, your best companion is the Voidwalker (Bruiser), who will soak up all the damage.
Always keep
Wither up on targets.Restore the Voidwalker's health with
Drain Life, but be sure to take the 
Infernal Beneficiary talent.
Useful Tips
For survival, use 
Dark Pact almost on cooldown and 
Healthstone together with 
Soulburn in a single macro.
Demonic Gateway — use it to reposition.
Soulstone — in Mythic+ always keep one charge on your healer or tank (Combat Res).
In Mythic dungeons, run with the 
Felhunter minion to interrupt spells.
