Alchemy is one of the most in-demand professions in the game. Alchemists create a variety of potions and flasks that are highly sought after by players. Some restore health and mana, others improve character stats, boost gathering and crafting efficiency — allowing players to gather more resources and craft higher-quality items, while others even affect the character's appearance.
Without such potions, it is difficult to complete a dungeon or raid, which is why Alchemy is always considered one of the most profitable professions for earning gold, as well as one of the most convenient for personal use.
Examples of such potions in Midnight include:
![]()
Silvermoon Health Potion - a healing potion that instantly restores health.
![]()
Flask of the Magisters - a flask that increases a specific character stat for 1 hour.
![]()
Haranir Phial of Ingenuity - a flask that increases crafting skill stats.
Also, experienced alchemists can craft special cauldrons: ![]()
Voidlight Potion Cauldron and ![]()
Cauldron of Sin'dorei Flasks. Other players can take potions and flasks from these cauldrons, which is very useful in raids or dungeon runs.
You can learn the profession from one of two special NPCs.

We have tried to provide you with the fastest and most cost-effective way to level the profession, but you may need slightly more resources, as profession leveling involves a small degree of randomness. Some yellow and orange recipes may not give the desired result, so keep a close eye on how many resources you have left after crafting each recipe.
To level up, you will need to obtain the following ingredients:

We recommend choosing all reagents of the lowest quality
, as reagent quality does not affect profession leveling speed, which allows us to save on materials.

After reaching level 50, you will have several paths for further leveling the profession.
The fastest method will be crafting ![]()
Light's Potential . You can craft this potion all the way up to level 100, but it is important to note that at profession level 80 this recipe will turn yellow, and at 90 it will turn green, meaning you will not gain +1 profession level for every craft, which may require a lot of resources.
This method is one of the most expensive, especially at the start of the expansion, as crafting the potion requires a large amount of resources, and at higher profession levels you may need to craft several potions to gain 1 level.
Also, as you level up, you will learn recipes for many different potions and flasks. You can craft these potions, as each of them will grant additional levels for the first craft. This method is not as fast and requires you to find and learn many recipes.
Be sure to watch the recipe color when crafting. Remember that yellow and green recipes do not grant profession levels for every craft.
